- IIAPS Brochures and Publications
- Internal codes of practice
- Programme requirements
- Registration papers
This documentation establishes the basis of an agreement between IIAPS and its students as to the rights, roles and responsibilities of both parties. Admission to IIAPS is subject to the requirement that the applicant will comply with the IIAPS's registration procedure and will duly observe this documentation.
Application and admission to IIAPS: information and requirements
It is essential that you provide accurate and complete information in your application form. If you fail to do so or the information you provide is discovered to be false, IIAPS may withdraw the offer of a place or require you to leave the study programme.
Study entry requirements
The requirements for admission to the International Green, Red and Black Belts in Advanced Purchasing & Supply are set out in relevant IIAPS Brochures and on our website (click here). Please read these details carefully to ensure you are eligible for admission.
Fees and payment
It is your responsibility to make sure your study fees and all other expenses relating to your course of study are paid in full and in a timely manner. A failure to pay will result in your failure to progress onto the next level or part of the International Green, Red and Black Belts in Advanced Purchasing & Supply.
The fees for each of the International Green, Red and Black Belts in Advanced Purchasing & Supply are published on the website (click here), and may be revised from time to time at the discretion of IIAPS.
As a member of IIAPS you will be bound by the IIAPS regulations on the payment of fees. If you are a sponsored student and your sponsor fails to pay your tuition fees, you will become responsible for payment.
Scholarships
IIAPS is a non-profit organisation and any annual trading surpluses are always allocated to either the Developing World Training Fund (DWTF), or the Best Practices Research Fund (BPRF).
The Developing World Training Fund (DWTF) provides free training places for potential International Green, Red and Black Belt candidates from disadvantaged students from countries in the Developing World.
Applicants for funding have to be from one of the countries designated as either Least Developed or Under Developed Countries by UNESCO, and they must be suitably qualified, but without obvious means of financial support. If you believe you are eligible for IIAPS training support under the DWTF please complete the membership application form, and also provide with it an explanation of your reasons for applying for a free training place.
The Best Practices Research Fund (BPRF) provides funding for research into best practices in purchasing and supply management. All aspects of the discipline, as broadly conceived, are eligible for consideration, and applications are welcome from any disciplinary background. Preference in funding will normally be given to research that has a demonstrable practical value for organisations and individuals operating within 'real world' organisations.
If you would like to apply for a BPRF grant please send an initial letter by email to info@iiaps.org, outlining the best practice area you wish to research, with an outline of the deliverables and potential benefits for the IIAPS and its practitioner community. Please also provide an initial outline of proposed timings and the anticipated costs of the research project.
Data protection and disclosure of personal information
The application procedure, registration and your progress through the course of study will provide IIAPS with a range of information about you. It will use this to support you on your programme and for the administration and management of IIAPS, including statistical analysis. Some information may be disclosed outside IIAPS, either at your request or in your interest.
The information is collected from a number of sources including your application, registration forms and references. We may disclose information relating to your progress through the course to your sponsor (if you have one).
Programmes, courses and modules
IIAPS will make all reasonable efforts to deliver your programme as described in our brochures and on our website. However, IIAPS may have to vary the method of delivery of your programme, and in some cases the content may be altered or updated, and your elearning support process may be changed.
In extreme circumstances IIAPS may have to discontinue your programme or amalgamate modules. In the highly unlikely event that IIAPS discontinues your programme or changes it significantly we will tell you at the earliest possible opportunity. Under such circumstances you may wish to withdraw your application.
The modules described in our brochures & website are provided as an illustration and may be subject to change.
