Services
Overview
The IIAPS approach is based on learning through knowledge transfer and competence development. IIAPS, therefore, provides professional services to support best practices amongst members and their organisations.
IIAPS provides a corporate accreditation service, linked to a number of competence assessment and benchmarking tools. These tools assess the current competencies of organisations and individuals against best practice, so that appropriate competence development programmes can be put in place.
For organisations wishing to benchmark themselves against world-class standards for purchasing and supply processes and systems, IIAPS provides The PSCM Index™. This tool allows organisations to understand how they currently stand in relation to both world-class and best-in-class standards for purchasing and supply management within their own industries and sectors.
For assessment of the competencies of individuals IIAPS provides the The ICA Index™. This tool is normally used by organisations to assess individual competencies, as a precursor to the selection of candidates for basic, or more advanced training, such as the International Green, Red and Black Belt qualifications.
IIAPS also provides and/or recommends consulting, mentoring and software support services to bring about desired improvements in performance.
Consulting and mentoring services are provided either by IIAPS staff, members of the IIAPS academic and industry advisory board, or by the development of a joint solution with our consulting and software solutions partners.
IIAPS also organises regular events to share best practice, provides instructor-led, in-company training workshops and programmes and publishes its own reports, articles and books.
