Theory Content
When taking the International Black Belt qualification candidates have continuous access to all of the 27 Theory Modules, as well as the 31 Praxis Modules, the relevant case material reading and the Theory Help functionality in the Sourcematix® Simulation learning environment.
The only major issue for each International Black Belt student to decide upon is how many times they choose to view each of the training Modules, briefly outlined below and on the next page (with approximate study times).
Students taking the International Green or Red Belt qualifications only have access to the Introduction to the Principles of Category Management Theory Module, but have full access to all Praxis Modules, relevant case material reading and the Theory Help functionality in the Sourcematix® Simulation learning environment.
27 Theory Modules
There are 27 Theory Modules covering approximately 9 lecture hours on the theory behind world-class purchasing and supply management, and the principles of category management and strategic sourcing.
